Gary Lambert

Gary Lambert is a Senior Advisor to Arclight Capital, drawing on extensive experience developing, financing and managing large-scale power infrastructure. Before joining Arclight, Gary was Executive Vice Chairman of Competitive Power Ventures (CPV), which he co-founded over 25 years ago. He served as a member of CPV’s board from its inception and as CEO for nearly a decade. Under his leadership, CPV became a successful, large-scale power development and asset management company, developing, constructing, selling, financing and operating more than 17 GW of thermal and renewable power assets.

Before forming CPV, Gary was a vice president in the project development group of PG&E Generating Company and a manager of development at J. Makowski Associates. Gary holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
